It’s a bit late but I’d like to talk about ZenPop Box that arrived to me last month.
This box is so amazing! My brothers and I enjoyed a lot unboxing it and try these yummy treats.
Let’s start by our favs: no doubts it starts with the Mike Shoyu Butter Popcorn and Juice-C Fruit Color Balls. The popcorn has a unique flavour. The fruit balls are so juicy. Then, comes the chocolate stuff of course! Pokemon Wafers are so delicious and came with a card. Sequoia Chocolate Bar is simple but very good. There is a pack of Grape Puchi Gum [addictive], a Caplico Mini [strawberry flavour], Cola Up [I remembered my childhood with this one], Ice Rumane [interesting flavour] and the Vanilla Cream Cookies [just because vanilla].
The remaining treats were that we don’t like so much. Puccho – Ibaraking Melon is ok. I mean, I love melon but it was so sweet. The same happened to Bontan Ame, which are made of lemon-orange and had an outer layer of rice paper that can be eaten. Again, a super sweet treat, the Mini Melon Pan, that just have this name because of its shape but the flavour is banana. I have already tried Puka Puka Taiyaki and didn’t like because it tastes like toothpaste [its a mint flavour so that may be this taste?]. Poiful Drink Mix resembles the Magic Beans from Harry Potter and I mean the bad flavours [nervous laugh!] [some of the beans have a soap taste]. Finally, the most hated treat was Ume Sugar Senbei. It is a crispy rice cracker flavoured Japanese plum and covered with sugar. Seriously, don’t eat it! I like plum but in this cracker, no way [again, nervous laugh].
Overall, we rate this box 8/10 because its mix of really good treats and really not-eaten ones.
